Personal Best Aquatics heads north
A second Personal Best Aquatics Swim School will open in Townsville, northern Queensland in December 2010.
Personal Best Aquatics director Glenn Beringen will establish his exciting learn-to-swim program at the rebuilt Kokoda Memorial Pool in Townville's suburban Mundingburra.
The new $5 million pool complex is due to open on December 17, 2010.
Swim School founder recognised in Swimming Hall of Fame
Personal Best Aquatics Swim School director Glenn Beringen has been recognised in the inaugural Swimming SA Hall of Fame.
Beringen, an Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist, was one of 19 inductees recognised in a ceremony at Swimming SA, the peak state body representing swimming in January, 2008.
Beringen joins an elite group of Hall of Fame recipients, which includes fellow Olympians:
- Dawn Fraser
- Anna McVann
- Daniel Kowalski
- Phil Rogers
- Sarah Ryan
- Ryan Mitchell, and more.
